Talk about a scolding. Lindsay Graham is certainly not happy with how America is no longer a Mayberry-esque vision of society where the white male can prosper. The minority uprising of the past 200 years has directly affected Graham's sense of well-being. Why, he can't even make public comments about his own whiteness. How unfair is that?



It's remarkable how useless these confirmation hearings are, especially when the candidate has essentially already been confirmed. Graham's strategy seems to reflect that of a frustrated parent who has already lost the battle with their stubborn teen. What is left to do, except demean, patronize and generally whine? Look for Orrin Hatch to blame Sotomayor for the rising illegal immigration problem around the nation's borders.
